I installed the "system update" apk from OnePlus, and it cant find the update file. The update file is located in root directory, and ends with ".zip" so idk what can be the problem.
I really have to do this update cuz my phone is unstable.
    Pls help🙏

What OxygenOS version are you on now, C36 or C39?
And which version did you download?

    👍

Have seen the file come down with similar series of letters and numbers before, not sure why it does that.

Delete the file again. Restart the phone. Download 3rd party app Oxygen Updater from the Playstore. Download the file through that if available and see if it comes down with the correct filename through OU. Then go through the install steps normally.

The file is already from oxygen updater. Whats OU? Ok I'll try that rn.

OU short for Oxygen Updater. It's odd that it's altering the filename

One of 2 things to try, extract the zip file, just in case it's getting recompressed after diwiad. If that does not show the single install file. Try downloading it via PC and then transfer the install file to your main storage and see if that works.

Very strange behaviour. I am afraid I am out of ideas if the PC download and transfer didn't work either. You would have to contact OnePlus support to see if they have a solution I'm afraid.

Sure you downloaded the correct regional version of the update too?
Are you on IN or NA firmware?
Judged by the name of the update it looks like NA.
The actual name is also the hash of the file.
