    I tried the oneplus Austria shop page; all provided links - uses PC at home and at work and also the oneplus 8T with chrome browser in mobile mode and desktop mode ... neither worked.

    I contacted the support via oneplus chat - WOW what a wasted time!

    This is my first oneplus phone - my first oneplus customer support experience - and fully disappointed.

    Contact in short...

    Hi this is oneplus support and we are so happy to help you.

    We take your problem serious but we don't know anything about it - it is forwarded to our special department.
    You will receive an email if we have any informations about your problem.


    I told them that it has to be a oneplus webpage or database problem and asked some specific questions.
    - is this problem (that is posted in the forums since release) known to oneplus?
    - are already actions taken to fix this problem
    - what is the timeframe you expect for a fix or what can you provide in help so solve my problem?


    Last answer: I don't know anything about it and you get an email.

    The chat was in German - but the language skills were like a chat bot and I did not felt understood in any way. Even with me using easie language and short sentences (so google translator can be used from the support staff)

    Can't be so hard to link our devices to our accounts if contacted.

    Same for me (Austria). I'm extremely disappointed with the support also. Wrote more than 10 days ago a ticket, had to provide then a numerous amount of information which has nothing to do with the error and since then not one answer, even after asking 2 times again :(

    Also austrian store - also same error as you guys tried it now multiple times over the course of two days. I did not have this problem 4 years ago with the OP3.

    PC and cellphone browser.
    Both IMEI 1 and IMEI 2 - same error as usual - Store is too crowded please try later...

    Being in the same boat here, since the day I received my new OP8T on Oct. 21 (so almost 4 weeks now),
    I am trying every day at least once to verify my device / register the IMEI and I also keep getting this error.
    "Oops, the store is too crowded. Please try again later."
    Is there ever gonna be a day where the store is not too crowded???

    Gave it another try today...
    No change - same error message.

    Contacted the support chat and told them about this problem again...

    Chat-Agent 1 left the chat after I posted the problem.

    Got connected again...

    Chat-Agent 2 read my posting - said he is looking into it. Then he wanted the receipt, my community name, my full name and the address the phone got delivered...

    I provided all information and then...
    Chat-Agent 2 left the chat.

    Got connected again (this time I was prepared!)

    Insterted the description of my problem with copy/paste - told him he is agent 3 and the other two got lost while 'looking into it' - I provided all information that agent two wanted in advance...

    Then I got a message that this is not a phone problem but fault of 'ooopsStore' and I should contact 'oopsStore' for help.

    I kindly asked whatever this should be because I ordered in oneplus store and now use oneplus customer service for support...

    Then he wanted to look into it again...

    3 minutes later 'the solution!'

    Please try it with another browser a little bit later...

    SLOWCLAP - for this overwhelming support!

    Language was again pretty bad and sometimes not even readable in German.

    I think they just use chatbots that copy answers based on keywords.

    I did not feel understood or supported in any way.
