    Hi,

I recently buy a OnePlus 7 case from aliexp. The vendor says it's original, but it came "as is" with no original box nor serial number or something like this. The vendor says it has no box because it will be more expensive for shipping.

Should I trust him/her? Is there any way to know if it's original or fake?

    Send a link here.

OnePlus makes their case in conjunction with evutech so if the case is real it should have the OnePlus | Evutech inscription inside the case

I don't have the case in front of me, but there's no inscription inside the case, only OnePlus logo in the back side.

It's sandstone version. Should it have some description inside the case?

My sandstone case has no engraving, just the logo on the back in the middle (outside) and bought it from OnePlus

Is there an actual problem with the case? If not, why do you care?

Because maybe it's done with cheaper and worse materials, and it could crack soon.

If it would has been the silicone case, maybe I hadn't cared about it.

You paid $3 on a site known for 99% fakes, how much does it cost on the official site?

You have asked and I have answered you. I am only asking for a way to check authenticity, nothing more.

    • Buy an official case
    • Send this, and your (possibly) dodgy case, to an ISO or ASTM approved laboratory for a comprehensive set of material analysis, stress & sheer testing, thermogravimetric analysis etc.
    • Compare the results they send back to you
Unfortunately this will cost several thousand dollars and result in the complete destruction of both of your cases, but you will now have the knowledge you seek.
