    This is a essential feature, and if Google messed it up with cleaning the annoying behaviour of volume slider changing the ringtone and media volume madly one by one depending on state of apps or something, you manufactures at least with your own custom Androids should fix it. We need separate control of ringtone and notifications volume and vibrantions back! Of course the hardware buttons should change the media volume, but you should separarely change other volumes as well from software.

    For me, this is deal breaker... after a few months with my OnePlus 6 8/256, i am thinking to go back to Samsung, because even after the latest update (Android 10) i do miss this option.

    am I going to have this feature? I use Sound Profile app to adjust the notification volume but it makes the slider useless. And in android 10, this app is not working properly anymore.

    I NEED to be able to adjust the volume of notifications on my OnePlus 7 Pro. Not having this capability is rediculous. Please fix this ASAP.

    This is crazy. Such a premium phone and you can't adjust the volume of the notifications without adjusting the ringer volume? I want my phone to ring loud but I don't want my kids baseball group chat notification going off as loud. OnePlus... Please fix this and Never Settle.

    I agree completely with everyone here. Being able to adjust the notification volume is a basic necessity. Like Samsung and apparently every other brand, my Nexus 6P running Android Pie (or maybe just Oreo) had it.

    For now, I will make a custom ringtone with a lower sound level to get around the problem, but I should not have to do this with a premium (or any) phone.

    On the subject of sound, controls, I think that I should be able to have my alarm sound go through the speaker even when I am connected to Bluetooth. Sometimes I listen to music through my earbuds when I go to sleep, but I will miss my alarm if the earbuds fall out when I am asleep. Once again, my Nexus 6P alarms always used the speaker. It is not a problem with the app because I tried running the google clock app on my 7T and have the same problem.

    Agree. Went to this phone because of 5G and on T-Mobile but this is a small but important feature to add.

    OnePlus you screwed up, this is such an annoying thing that you don't change such a simple thing.
    You don't listen to your customers? Than you loose them. I will sell my oneplus 8 pro and all friends I will recommend to not sell your damn phone. Iam really really disappointed!

    Agreed. I get tons of notifications a day - I want those to be muted. But when I get a phone call I'd like to be able to hear it - I want that on a loud volume.
