charger cable burn automatically via OnePlus 6T

    hi oneplus forum my oneplus 6t charger ban automatically e I am attaching the picture with you guys please help me what should I do next sometime my charger cable getting hot while charging the phone I am scared my phone might burn or blast someday pls guide me what to do

    That's a tear or cut.
    Cable and charging adapter do get a little hot while charging, as the whole charging system generates heat there. Check the working of Dash charge or VOOC

    Don't use it. Replace the cable.

    Nobody says you did it intentionally. Even so, rolling up the cable for extended periods and then straightening it repeatedly leaves similar damage to cables. The blackening of the cable is due to corrosion of the copper that you can see. As it is, the cable is carrying high current, so exposure to air and incorrect insulation (the cut in your case) can lead to sparking. So buy another one at the earliest.

    Yes it is not intentional , it may be due to regular wear and tear.. just get it replaced ☺️

    It's wear and tear which happens due to rough use! You can buy new one and I think it won't create heating Issue besides the charger getting little bit hot! Using a broken wire is dangerous ⚡⚡!
