    Hi Oneplus 3 users, i was wondering is it alright to leave my phone charge overnight. Ever since dash charging i have to change my charging habit.

    If you want to get the most life-span out of your battery, you shouldn't let it charge 100%. You should leave the charger at 90% most. And never let it drop below 10%.
    I'm doing it this way, and it doesn't seem to have bad SoT. I usually get 4-5 hours of it.
    Try it and you'll be fine. ;)

    Using it as I do, I wonder how long it would take for my battery to degrade to less than 80% of total capacity ie what you are restricting yourself to now?

    keep the batterry bettwen 21-88 , that means charge the phone 35 minutes in the morning and it Will give you more than 4 hours sot. That is how I do! 1 charge per day.If you turn on the agressive doze you get even more sot.

    Edit: Now don't I look stupid, I forgot its February 24-86% until the ides of march

    plug it in when you wake up. even 30 mins you will be fine seriously. turn on Aggressive doze, make sure Clock app is not optimized (search in settings for battery optimization and turn it off)

    For my experience that's the good...Why? because if I charge the phone over 90 or drop more than 20 than the batterry has read it like one cicle, if I don't hit 90 than I got 1 cicle only after 3 mini charges (so 3 days). So in 1 week I got only 2 full cicle. If you charge the phone 0-100, it latest you 1,5 days, so in one week you waiste 4 full cicle...

    I used to let my phone charge before I would leave the house in the morning until about midway through September when I got too lazy to remember and started to let it charge overnight. I haven't seen any issues with my battery life after this so id say you are good to go. All modern phones are able to monitor the amount of charge that is sent to your phone which helps to increase the life of your battery.

    I think there will be no problem but in my case I have no need. Due to the good battery life and dash charge I changed my habit. Just manage my time because I just need + - an hour to full charge the op3. For example:
    In the morning I wake up:mad:,
    I put the smartphone to charge☠️,
    I shave:cool:
    I take a shower:)
    I take breakfast:)
    and when I pick up the smartphone...
    bumm 100%:D
