Does oneplus restricted other 3rd party car charger ? It fine to charge my oneplus 8 pro up to 4k mA. But this can't even up to 1.1k mA.

I'm using Oppo 50W supervooc car charger here... Hmmmm

Yepp. Deeper discharge let's it charge faster.
Not that you SHOULD discharge it completely

If someone is getting like double the speeds the charger can deliver don't you think it's possible the apps reporting such speeds show it incorrectly?
6.5A is the highest current it can deliver of ALL the charge standards the charger supports
    10V x 6.5A = 65W.

According to tests Warp 30 compatible chargers and other chargers fall back to a slower standard. Don't know exactly what yet. Hope to find a full list of supported charge standards somewhere

BTW. I think I know what could be happening. Charge methods that has multiple voltages. For example Quick Charge 2.0. 5, 9 and 12V delivered from the charger. How do an app showing only current display this? Could it be possible some apps tries to overcome this by simply recalculate the values? And that could cause this 10V 6.5A to be recalculated to 5V 13A

i will bring this to the app developer and see if the app showing wrong values.

Edit: It's definitely an issue with the app. It's displaying the wrong values. A 30W 5.5A max car charger is showing 38W and 9.3A

Since different charge techniques has different voltages the best charge speed measurement tools would need to also display the provided voltage. Or show the currently used wattage it uses. Both variable voltage and currents complicates display of simple ampere curves. What does the ampere really mean if the voltage is unknown?

The voltage is not even shown here of some reason.

Guess what ? It working again .. lol... Then after that it not again. 🙄🙄🙄🙄... I'm not sure what problem now. The Oppo 50W car charger is supported for oneplus device. I try Ampere, battery guru, accu and I not sure which stat can be trust. Since op9 pro using dual battery. Take a look at the photos. Should be software issue.

Hello dear people, I am the developer of BatteryGuru. Problem here is detection of the charging voltage which is not possible over the official Android SDK.
I made a mistake under reading the current which is always double for a dual battery configuration. So instead of 6A it will show 12A. I will fix that up next week

It's a bit hard to develop something without owning a device.
I really want to do it if you people want to help

I can answer this one. None of the apps have support for dual battery configuration, since it's "a new" thing. I have started workin on it in last two weeks and have in plan to finish it.
Only issue now in BatteryGuru is that for dual battery it show doubled Amperage which is not, but again, I need testers in order to make it well. I hope I have them now. :)

Yeah. Never seen anyone showing voltage (other than battery voltage) so I kind of guessed it was not accessible. The true wattage would surely had helped in showing the charge progress on Quick Charge standards for example.

Your app sure looks interesting. So I'll be sure to check it out in more detail.

I usually pay for apps that I feel is well done even if I don't end up using them for more than testing reasons since I think good devs deserves being thanked and rewarded for their work. For that reason, since you lack a one time payment, ever though about a donation option? (Weird people like me that pay even if not using exists 😜)

Thanks for reply. There is no way of getting the voltage from the device, it require a framework that should be inside kernel. I'm talking with one ROM developer to support me in that way so I can recommend stuff to others. Manual way doesn't going since voltage is dynamic.
For payment I'm only taking it as a support in order to get Ad-free for that period of time, none of the features are locked or require payment. :)
Plus, don't all user know that, there is free way of AD removing, it's 24h sub, you can do it unlimited time. 😊
I am busy for next couple of days, I will be here when I'm about to release beta. We need to do this all together if we want usable app.
I am open for all the suggestions and everything that is good and needed will be in app as soon as possible.
I saw that you talking about donation also, it can be done over PayPal, but I am not sure am I able to post it here because of forum rules which I haven't seen.

    Thanks for support

How do I check whether my charger is faulty or not? I am using the battery monitor app- ampere meter, it shows my current is always around 3.5A and less while the charger supports 6.5A. I think my charger is faulty but I am not sure. It took me 45min for my last full charge
