Mine does that too occasionally. When it does, I unplug the charger for a couple of seconds & plug it back in, and within a couple of minutes it shows 100% and stops charging.

I just went to Settings->Battery then tap on the trash icon. It cleared it and the next time I charged, it went to 100%.

I don't think you should do this. This is not good for a LiPo battery. Lithium Polymer shouldn't be discharged beyond 80% of its rated capacity (20% remaining). Every time you completely run out a LiPo battery you potentially lose 10-25% of its rated capacity. In some cases the cells even become incapable of retaining any charge.

Overcharging can actually be dangerous. The battery could delaminate, swell, short, etc. causing it to explode. If it's stuck t 99%, and never switched to "charged", I would be careful, and not leave it plugged in.

Shut up idiot. Li-po firmware is programmed to prevent that any way. Your BS about 20% and 80% is ridiculous. When Android displays "100%" that is your "80%" of Li-Po capacity, and when Android displays "0%" that is like 40% of the real capacity. Battery manufacturers aren't stupid, and they know many people don't know how to calibrate batteries properly, so they reduce the capacity themselves for the stupid people.

By charging the OPO to 80%, it's only around 72% of its true capacity, and 20% is still like 50% of its capacity. Don't do this stupid BS, batteries are designed for long term use; there is nothing wrong with letting your OPO drop to 0%, cause that's how phones are designed.

Yes they're "designed that way", but if the "design" has malfunctioned, then that's that.
    Thanks for the insight!

Yep its best for lipo to always be more than 20% ... But hes battery wont show up 99%... This as you mention can be potentialy dangerous if it keep charging at 99% without stoping... So Letting the battery to 0 and fully charging it without unpluging will calibrate its data. If after that battery do not stop or charge after 99%, the battery is defect anyway....

    I've also had same problem
But when i unplugged my OPO @ 99% of battery, after 3-4 minute it automatically goes to 100% without even plugged in.
    So don't worry bro.
    Nothing serious about it..
