Well I would not say I hate apple. They have their goodness and in fact I like their iPad more than our android tablets. They have each of their strengths...

That charger....I'm not sure...normally I wouldn't use generic chargers and I believe the factory one is the safest ..

Btw you need to start charging your phone at a low percentage, input current reduces dramatically after 80-90%

They have many different types. If you only need one usb, buy that one. It's smaller. The technology allows any phone to charge at the fastest speed the phone allows. Charged mine in an hour the other night.

I was actually wondering about the same problem as well but a new cable fixed that :)
The charger itself is only a part of the whole charging process. The cable is also very important.
When you are looking for a new cable try to look for out for the "gauge number" for example 24/28 instead of 28/28 has 60 percent thicker gauge allowing more current to flow through. There are cables with 20 rating which in theory allows more current but with OnePlus 24 is more than enough (it's actually same as the stock cable that comes with the OPO)
Another thing to look out for is the cable length. Good rule of thumb is the shorter cables are the better ones since the longer cables actually diminish the charging rate noticeably. Get one foot one and not three foot for example it charges alot faster.
If you have any more questions feel free to ask :)

If you're using "battery monitor widget" app you should consider my issue: on my device if the screen is on, the reported charging current varies from 900mAh to 1100mAh. As soon as I lock it (so screen off) it will get 1800+mAh. With the OP cable I get it charged (from 15% to 95%) in 1h20m, usually (the charging rate is reported +56%/h).

Thanks for the info man! Really appreciate it!!!

Same i had the same problem. Will watch out for that!
And the lifetime insurance for crazy prices ;)

Thanks will consider if i need a longer cable than the short opo cables.

Because you use extender, that's why the charging time is so slow...
The shorter cable you use means faster charging time... Vice versa...

I already have super high quality powerbank...
I buy it in 2013 and still working good until now...
Dual USB output, auto cut voltage and turn off when the smartphone is full, can charge even when the smartphone batteries is fully depleted (not all powerbanks can do this), and good build quality...

    Cool...
    ;)

Ah... I almost forgot that when you using usb port at your laptop/pc, it takes 6-7 hours to fully charge the OPO from 10%
    :)

For those who want to charge at full 2Amps while the screen is on, you can flash Render kernel. It has charge control which can overwrite the default behavior of only 1A while screen is on.
