I Charged My Op5 Overnight , Is it fine or Is It Not Ok
Recent mobiles have mechanism to stop charging after 100%
so don't worry, but my suggestion is not to do that again and again it may effect battery
It's fine like already said the phone will cut the circuit and go into a trickle charging mode when full. It won't cause any damage or anything but it will continue to charge a small amount as it drains so essentially you're going through a small percentage of a charge cycle over and over again which will reduce the battery's longevity if you make a habit of it.
you just need an hour to full charge....then why you keep charging overnight..?? it's OnePlus dude.[e]1f4aa[/e]
I don't understand the purpose of this thread
op5 takes an hour to charge
and you charge it upto 6 hours while you are in sleep.
that is overcharging.
you gonna loose your battry life of op5.
you must charge it when you wake up in morning, only an hour or 100 %
both are same,[e]1f604[/e]
if our phone takes only an hour to fully charge!!
That's by mistake, not intentional
It's perfectly fine, I always charge my phone overnight, and I've never had any battery issues.
It may not show immediate effect but it will surely effect battery
battery will won't last long if you continue to do that
All batteries degrade over time no matter how it's charged.
I totally agree with you , but it depends on you, how long you could manage to get best of it
you will get the resut aftre some time, few months.
then you remember this comment.
best of luck
and keep charging overnight
Since I moved from regular mobile phones to smartphones in 2010, not including my current daily driver I've had 4 long term devices, an HTC, a Sony, a Samsung and a Motorola. All owned for around 2 years each, all charged overnight on a daily basis and none of them suffered any issues or noticible battery degradation as a result. So no luck is needed. The whole charging battery overnight is bad issue is either, A: a myth, or B: completely blown out of proportion.
myths about changing
charging every time, overnight will probably accelerates the battery degradation, but honestly, the effects will appear after 2 years. dash charge changed my charging routine... nowadays I put the phone to charge during my breakfast and morning shower... reachs 80%, Wich is enough for me
that's exatly im doing
when my phone charged fully in time when i get ready for work after wake up,
then why do i charge overnight....
everyone pretending like they use their oneplus when they brush, in toilet, in shower, wareing clothes after shower, breakfast......LOL
