Here's the deal... I had the same issue until I found that you must orient the big usb plug into the power converter with the white side of the cord up with the logo side of the convertor. Mine is now charging....

It seems that the problem is not residing with the charger or the cable.
    • I have tested the charger with a different compatible cable and the charging worked.
    • I have tested the cable with the charger on another /Samsung) phone and it was charging.
    • My OPO charges with the OPO charger and a (Samsung) cable.
    • My OPO charges using the OPO cable and a USB port on my laptop.
    • MY OPO does not charge using the OPO power converter and OPO cable.

Conclusion. All hardware is working separately. Consequently the charging problem must reside in the OPO firmware.

    Hi @JessenC ,

I have the same problem. I tried all the possibilities you mentioned, the result is same. I also suspect that the problem is in the firmware.

Yes, it is indeed a firmware problem and OnePlus has not really resolved this issue
