Pseudo-materialized Visual Style
This time, we have cast a special spell on the Weather. Its design is meant to imitate and reproduce the real weather outside, making it easier for you to perceive the outside world. Let’s have a look at its magic as shown below: the walking clouds, light rain, misty fog, and snowy winter... All of them give us a familiar and cordial visual experience. Is it sunny or raining? It's easy to see at a glance.
Dynamic Animation
Everyone enjoys smooth and beautiful animation, so we decide to bring you more in our new Weather. The vivid dynamic effect allows you to truly feel all the faces of nature. Whether it is a comfortable and cozy Saturday morning, or a tropical storm with thunder and lightning, you can feel the vitality and power of nature.
Clearer Information Layout
In the making of this new Weather, our designers have followed the overall design concept of OxygenOS 11, and adopted a grid layout design to reset the priority of information, highlighting the most critical information for users so they don't need to search for it. The temperature, as the most relevant information, has been significantly enlarged and is clear at a glance. Scrolling down further, you will notice that different information is displayed individually in its own module, which makes the information clearer and the browsing experience more comfortable.
Other Details Improvement
If you are careful enough, you'll find a lot of small details optimizations in this new Weather app. For example, PM 2.5 and somatosensory temperature are now displayed in parallel with the temperature display and changed from a monotonous number to a vivid small icon display. The information is more direct and the visual experience is also improved.
In addition, under DAILY FORECAST, a module called SUNRISE & SUNSET has been added. The dynamic effect of the parabola shows the change of the day in a lovely way.
Do you often worry about the dramatic temperature changes during the season, and don’t know what to wear today? Don't worry, our new Weather has added Yesterday's weather to DAILY FORECAST. Yesterday's weather is provided as a reference, so you can have a better clue about what to wear today. What? Today's temperature is 6 degrees lower than yesterday? Be sure to wear more clothes!

Q: Why can’t I find Weather widget in my phone?
A: Weather widget is currently not available. If you need to see the weather information on your home screen, you can add the "OnePlus Widget" which includes simple weather updates instead. Just long-press on the home screen, tap Widgets and drag the OnePlus Widget to the home screen.
Q: Why does the Weather icon keep changing?
A: The Weather icon changes according to the weather of the currently located city so that you can intuitively learn about the weather conditions without entering the app. This is one of the unique features of the app.
