This for people who cannot wait for OTA/Wants 12s installation to be done with just a Click of a button.

This will wipe all your data so please backup.

1, Depending on the 16GB or 64GB phone download any one of the below Zip file.

Stock Cyanogen OS 12s for 16GB Phone.

Stock Cyanogen OS 12s for 64GB Phone.

2, Put your phone on fastboot mode. (Power off your phone, hold VolumeUP+Power button till you see fastboot on phone's screen.)

3, Install ADB drivers if you don't have it already > ADB Drivers Link

4, If your bootloader is not unlocked then type fastboot oem unlock on fastboot mode phone connected to computer.

4, Unzip the downloaded zip file and run the .bat file. Once the installation completes your phone will reboot into CM12.

Why are there different versions of 16Gb or 64Gb? What is the difference?

    Thank you.

The bat file is the only difference. If your phone is 64GB then Userdata64G file will be used and if your phone is 16GB the userdata file will be used. That is all the difference everything else should be same.

To make things simple i have made 2 downloadable zip files.

you have to manually backup everything before using this method. This is a fresh install of CM12.

It didn't work, it didn't recognize my phone's fastboot, any ideas why? I see my fastboot device via PC manager.

Make sure ADB Drivers are installed properly and the phone is detected correctly in device manager. The script looks for phones in fastboot mode connected to the computer, if it finds one it'll start flashing,

If you think the drivers are all installed properly already and stll the method fails then put the phone to fastboot mode and type fastboot oem unlock
This will reboot the phone, put it to fastboot mode again and run the bat file.

Ok, in fastboot mode type fastboot oem unlock
This will reboot your device, put the phone to fastboot mode one more time and the script should work just fine.

This is completely stock and no root needed. Just unlock the bootloader and install the stock CM12 and lock the boot loader again.

Sorry to come across as a total numbskull but I have a couple of questions:
    1. I will receive my new OPO next week (finally!) so, will it arrive with this version of Cyanogen (considering it is being shipped only recently)?
    2. If not, should I do this installation right off the bat?
    3. Installing the ADB drivers: where do I install them? on the PC?

Appreciate the replies, not very skilled here, but willing to learn!
