3 hours and 20 minutes. Thats the time oneplus two takes to charge from 0 to 100%.
How a phone can be flagship killer if it takes 200 minutes for complete charge and what good is type c usb.
Didn't expect this from the company, otherwise the TWO is fantastically awesome phone, charging time is the only issue with this phone.
Is there any way that it could be decreased with a software update?

    P.S.- SERIOUSLY?

How many times have you really had to charge your phone from 0%? Most people plug it in when it gets below 50%, and on top of that if the phone lasts ALL day (they say it will, but we will have to see) then there is no need for quick charging because it will just charge up at night.

Is this true? The OPO charges really fast, does fast charging mean shorter life expectancy for the battery?

Where is the 3 hour 20 minute coming from? That's... very slow, even after factoring in the larger battery. At typical charge I'd expect between 2 and 2.5 hours if you're talking 0 to 100 completely.

Yes, fast charging means shorter life expectancy for the battery.

That's why I put my OPO on a charger with half the amps as the one it came with, since I charge mine at night.

It's not slow at charging, its just not as fast as a quick charge compatible phone. Before Motorola came out with turbo boost, everybody was ok with the charging times. And even now, only 3 or 4 phones really take advantage of quick charging. Even though it is built in to QUALCOMM's latest processors so not sure why it isn't an option with the OP2.

"All day" bears many interpretations. MKBHD said it lasts only a bit more than 4 hours of screen active time while OPO lasts for more than 6 hours.

They have to pay to Qualcomm to get license for QC 2.0. Maybe they saved a little bit of money there.
