I hope for the best and will also believe this with a pinch of salt. Still waiting for my official OxygenOS Nougat version update as well.

    nougat update is buggy

I was having trouble downloading apps from the playstore then I read it somewhere that this problem is being faced by one plus 3 and 3t after the nougat update and then it was suggested to switch on battery saver from settings menu and it worked
this is a bug, please sort this out in your next update

What security problem do you have exactly which you want to be solved?

Security problems are usually invisible until you get hacked. I believe there have been some security issues fixed in the January Android update. Users may not be aware of their existence.

To exploit the bootloader vulnerability you must give someone your handy to make use of it, or he must get remote access to an adb connection to the device. Also he must be an extremely highly sophisticated professionel to know and understand how to make use of such a vulnerability. The chance is probably about 1:10'000'000 or even less that someone gets affected. Talking about such things on a Google phone which is full of spyware and backdoors is just ridiculous. Most of the users don't care about security at all. They let apps spy at them, save their personnel data and contacts on totally unsecure american servers and then they cry for security updates? Come on guys, lets stay on the ground.

Because I want only the best for you I give you a small tip:
Go to Play store, download "Spy Monitor" and have a look to which servers all over the world your Handy is connected in this very moment. But please, don't come back to me and ask me what kind of information these servers are collecting right now from you....... It must not necessarily be a bad connection spying at you. But it can....

I don't want to say that it is not necessary to solve such vulnerabilities. What I want to say is that it is quite useless to ask for security updates when you even don't know if there are issues, and if yes, if they are dangerous or not.

As usual, the biggest Problem is behind the display, not somewhere else.

Just do a factory reset. It will solve most of your problems. 4.0.1 is working fine for me and I did a factory reset. Plus if you factory reset you'll get f2fs. It only takes a couple hours to set your phone back up after a factory reset, it's not that big of deal. The suckiest part is signing back into all your apps but like I said, you'll be back up and running in no time at all and your phone won't have all the problems it did before the factory reset

I believe its much needed that the battery issues be fixed first hand since 4.0.1 is snappy already
