@Chris.C So, from the looks of it, you were able to get your OP2? Im curious cuz its hard to find accurate details. So just to confirm:

    - You got an invite for OP2
    - You purchased through US and shipped via US service to Aus

My question is if you had any customs issues?

Thanks in advance. Sorry if this questions has been answered, but I didnt want to read all 1700 pages lol

For OPO, US version is compatible with the LTE bands in Aus.
Whereas for OP2, US version is NOT fully compatible and not future proof for Aus. You need the EU/HK version (not sure whether it's similar to other Asian market version).

Thanks for the info. Im so tempted to buy the phone, but Im just not sure about the price yet. The whole point of the phone was to get a great phone at a decent price. But it looks like trying to cut corners is adding up in total costs. Decisions decisions.

Thanks for that. Im trying to do as much research as possible to make a wise decisions. I will be travelling within a years time from here so I want to make sure I pick up the best option at the best price.

I'm getting mine from HK. As a matter of fact, it will be delivered soon to my friend. It's unfortunate that we still can't find a freight forwarder from HK that will forward to Aus.

in OnePlus account, if you have a c/o address, do not enter it in the Company field. It doesn't appear in my shipping address which resulted in a lot of hassles re-arranging with the courier in HK and delays as well as confusions!

    I see. Thanks mate.

I think personally, Im gonna go through shipping from the states. I know I will take a hit with compatibility, but it seems more promising. Plus right now, I dont have any contacts through HK.

Im going through this guys method.

    You think this will work?

Ok- someone told me on this thread to buy from them before though, and getting it off of oneplus is a rip off. I may as well buy a S6. We NEED direct shipping to Australia so badly.
