Well that's more like it, apparently your last thread disappeared in a puff of smoke much like your OP5T did.

I wish you well with your pursuit through proper channels here, if that fails I'm sure you can find some outlets on social media who would be more than happy to follow this up for you.

Also, the peripheral damage which occurred to the many precious objects which were sat next to your phone at boom time.

Also the personal trauma and PTSD you will face over many years as a result of this.

    Hint hint.

Smoked a spliff and had a wank.

    Just being sarcastic
It would be helpful if you would tell us what did you do before the phone exploded. You wrote that you plugged it in and then it went into smoke... so was anything near the charger like water?
Did you feel that your device in the last few days was acting weird - like overheating?

How could a metal back be blasted in a quite straight line.. o_O
OnePlus 6 on the way!!! :D:p

P.S. by looking at your last image its look like this phone was put in fire as the bottom part is all burnt.

Come on folks, all joking aside - and you know I like to joke now & again - it would seem that OP was walking around with a hand grenade in his pants.

Now I've been told before that I'm packing a lot of explosive power down there, but never quite like this.

I don't have enough forensic knowledge to assess the blast signature & fragmentation patterns here, but at first glance this would seem to be in the approximate ballpark of the Note 7 shenanigans.

Or it could be that OP took a chainsaw to it, what do I know.

For my money that cut looks way too straight, but who can say I'm sure support will handle it.

I was thinking the same thing. Suspiciously straight (and the coating scraped off along the line. like a cutter was used).

also, is that a cover in one of the pictures? wouldn't that have melted if the phone cought fire while in it? or ripped apart if the phone exploded. if the explosion could rip metal surely it could tear apart tpu

There is so much wrong with your story.

The scenario you described is not how a phone explodes.

None of your pictures match that of an explosion.

    I suspect foul play.

    But what do I know?
    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I bet this is the OP device that did the water test. Now we know what happened to the phone. lol

My best guess is that he broke his phone by some other means (dropped it, threw it, karate chopped) and then realized it was gonna cause some serious bucks to fix so he completely FUBAR'd the device in hopes of a freebie.
