If OnePlus wants to send me a few OP5T s I'll run a specific series of test to see if we can scientificly come to same dubious conclusion.

    test 1 - ☢️ Microwave
test 2 - [e]2702[/e]️ Cut phone in half making sure line is a little diagonal.
test 3 - [e]1f525[/e] Fire (but just the bottom corner)
    test 4 - [e]1f44b[/e] Karate chop

After these 4 carefully calculated, exactly, precise, on-point test.

we should arrive to the same conclusion - FUBAR.

Then I'll post results on community forum and demand a new OnePlus device.

Your Statement and your pics can't justify the scenario you telling,
It's very hard to believe to normal users like us, I don't know how you clarify this to customer support, those guys never accept that this is device's fault.
Best of luck for that in Advance..
If possible update us what actions are taken...

A blast shouldn't break the phone into pieces right?
If it's a plastic phone, breaking seems valid, but in a metal body phone, nope, nada....

Even a Google search doesn't show results similar to yours ...

So yea, give complete details about what you had done ..

    Now that's a scary stuff.
did you ever used any other charger to charge your device ? or changed battery something like that?

it seems as if there was pressure on the phone while it was charging in a spot where the sun directly hits. this caused the battery to expand and since there was pressure in one place, the battery's inside "coils" touched and caused the phone to explode.

Phone bent in half by muscular applications installed in crack minded folder.... This might be due to anger management patch / frustration or irritation updates. Seems like battery got bent and once lithium and ions mixed boom [e]1f525[/e]

its because battery sits there and thats probably the spot it went off. many factors matter, the placing of screws too. maybe its the easiest part to break.

Phone is cut in half. No way the phone was blasted and even if it did the cover didnt get damaged. I m sure he wanted to upgrade to new op6 so he did this

I know a little about explosives due to military training, and what I know about explosions (even mini ones like batteries as seen online), the blast should be towards the screen and the aluminum backplate shouldnt be in this condition. just my 2 cents.

Again guys no point in speculating, support will ask him to send his phone to them and they will make the call.

My opinion it looks like self inflicted damage. Never seen a expanding/exploding battery cut the phone in a straight line. And it would have affected the weaker glass and not the metal back.
