    Taking away something even unused would feel like incompleteness, incompatible. Type-C without any practical enhancement in utility is a nuisance to be the least, as my other cables would render useless!!
    In a world of multiple utility of things, OP have decided to go backward!!

    Had a crash on HYPE - am feeling quite a let down!! :eek::(

    Exactly...
    Its better to have fast charge on regular USb port than have type C and take 3hrs 20mins to charge...

    Not sure what they are smoking while calling this a 2016 flagship killer..

    Give them some time guys. They've been working non-stop for last many days. Let them get some decent amount of sleep. :D

    Someone from Oneplus confirmed it doesn't take anywhere near that time. Search the thread that also is calling out the Oneplus team, Mike personally did a test for us.

    As for the NFC, it really seems like there's a source clash. People have found sources from an interview with Carl saying the NFC chip was embedded in the phone itself because of the swaps. Then some people are using Helen's argument and a confession to Androidpolice(yuck) as proof that NFC was 180'd. The truth is: the confusion doesn't look good and is giving me mixed signals. I'd love to know if I should buy a G4 now, or save the money and wait for this Unicorn.

    Don't forget that it's future proof too.
    I like the type C connector, but it should have been USB 3.0.
    However what makes me look the other way is the lack of NFC.

    Seriously wtf happened to making the best possible phone without looking at the price, never settling, or future proofing?
    @Carl @Pete @Cat H Someone answer.
