Android 11.0.0.2 has crippled the OnePlus 7T.

Owners are complaining across the Internet. Twitter, YouTube and even here within our community.

What is OnePlus's response.. "send us a direct message so we can better support you".

This isn't someone struggling to change a setting. It's a wide spread raft of bugs introduced in the latest software. Yet OnePlus's attitude is to hide and play dumb; rather than standing up and saying, "whoops we messed up. Don't worry, we're working to fix it".

    Why the secrecy?

Battery life ruined - I can't even get through a day without multiple charges. Prior easily a day and a half.

    Charging - slower

Bluetooth - so buggy now it's a joke

Stop closing threads and hiding behind generic support messages. We paid a lot for our phones which you have now introduced bugs to. Fix it.

Threads get closed by mods (who do this voluntarily in their own free time) because they violate forum rules, nothing more nothing less. This is mostly a user forum, and more importantly no one from OnePlus reads these kind of threads. It's okay to voice your dissatisfaction, you should, but doing so here isn't gonna make an ounce of difference if you want OnePlus to hear about it.

And usually these get merged to the primary thread anyways or closed. Not completely deleted, unless there was more in the post violating the rules.

My friend had received the update about a week ago, and has none of the above mentioned issues

    I can't comment as I still haven't got it yet 🤭

World domination... What do you think...
This is a "community" for OnePlus devices and owners. The obvious purpose is to ideally drive change in OnePlus' approach.
Yes they may not read this (they do), but feedback ultimately goes back up. It's naive to think that posts here have no impact.
There are 'news' reporters here. They read this stuff and end up writing very public articles (like this one: https://www.androidauthority.com/oneplus-7-oneplus-7t-android-11-problems-1224737/) - yes Reddit was also a source.
Noise drives news. News drives pressure. Pressure drives action.

You're not going to drive change in Oneplus' behaviour by whingeing on a USER forum. I've been here long enough to know people have been whingeing about lack of communication for at least 5 or 6 years, has this made things better? Not IMHO but if it makes you feel better carry on, but pointless threads will continue to get closed for violating community rules.

I have a HD1903 running the latest EU build (11.0.0.2.HD65BA) and am very happy with the build.

    2.5. Constructive Feedback
At OnePlus, we welcome your feedback. Sometimes, your feedback may be negative, and that’s okay. We want to hear your honest thoughts on our products and our brand as a whole. However, criticism should be legitimate, constructive and suggest solutions. Posts that exist solely to attack OnePlus without basis will be removed. Action may be taken against users who continuously break this rule.

    OnePlus welcome feedback - tick
It's okay to be negative - tick
Want to hear your honest thoughts - tick
    Criticism should be:
    Legitimate - tick
    Constructive - tick
    Suggest solutions - tick

So well within the forum rules!

Rather than OnePlus staying quiet over this, a constructive solutions (as said above) is they proactively come out and address their consumers' concerns.

Knowing how OnePlus is, they'll constructively decide to ignore our problems.
