Oh. That's why the sensor broke... Mido had warned me about that but I flashed SU before his reply... So, dirty flashing the ROM again should solve it, right?

Yeah that'd do the trick. SU breaks sensors atm. Heard shreesha is working on it.

About rooting your OP2, there's a great thread by @Funk Wizard Try that...
As for details about CM14 I'd second @ponczoszek 's advice.

Another bug I found: In settings, if you search for visualiser and click the display visualiser option, the app crashes. Can anyone second this observation?

Hey I usually use the hardware buttons and I'm having a slight issue with the home button.

I use the double tap feature to turn off the screen and the home button doesn't function for a second. Works after I press it once again.

    Anyone else facing this?

    (I've clean flashed)

The button doesn't function instantly after turning off the screen? Check your screen lock time. Might be the FPS kicks in thinking your phone has locked...

An additional observation to my earlier post on Settings f/c:
The Settings closes whenever I try to open the cog wheel next to the Screen Lock option in Security. I guess the power button instantly locks, visualiser, etc are in that section as opening those f/c the app.

    Hey thanks for the info.

    I'll elaborate a little further.

This doesn't necessarily have to do with turning off the screen.

It just freezes randomly in between while using the phone as well.

Tapping the button a second time solves the issue.

I've checked on CM13 and there is no such issue on that ROM.

Do you use a pattern or a PIN?

Do you guys use a PIN?

I'm asking coz I found a solution. Change the Screen Lock to Pattern and then try to access that menu. It worked for me. Could you second this finding?
