[CLOSED] Custom recovery keeps getting replaced with stock after reboot

    While having Samsung phones it was a Requirement to remove the crap but then with the Nexus 6p I enjoyed the stock. same for this device (and maybe oxygen). but root is helpful if you like tinkering a bit. Not anymore an absolute necessity though..
    XDA is a great source of information. read read read read test and ask after ;)

    Can you describe your situation prior to creating the thread? What OS were you on before you tried flashing twrp? which twrp did you flash first?

    Currently I am on the latest Stock OS version, I have flashed (latest: normal twrp, codeworkx, blu star).
    After each boot into recovery i flash the SuperSU zip and reboot into system. I get an off/black screen with a white LED. I have tried this again while typing, Phone now stuck on the white LED and black screen.

    I can only fix this black screen thing by rebooting into twrp and flashing the OS zip again

    Try magisk. SuperSU is dead(for now).

    IT WORKED, Magisk did the trick. wtf is wrong with SuperSU?
