Speak for yourself. My phone improves with every update cause I know how to *handle* the updates and the processes to be followed in post update phase to iron out all the glitches that might occur.

Updates are all awesome so far, loving new features. If I did not want a smartphone that get's new features I could have just gotten a non-smartphone

All based on years of scientific research I'd guess.

Anyhow, great first post/thread by the way, you must have studied this forum carefully.

Okay sir, I am really scared to update now. Just because you don't know how to use a phone and clean cache or reset doesn't mean the update itself is bad! What's the last phone you used? Did it have stable updates?

After update (8.1) the screen goes to reading mode (b&w). Had to change it manually. The volume bar is now gray . Not sure if it is intended or bug.

I'm not going to update just because some random user told me not to.
You didn't give a reason, can't use a smartphone, don't know how to clear cache, can't give any evidence whatsoever and you can't read the forum rules, can't search to see that this thread is as redundant as hell.

Each update add features and fixes bugs.
Easy to gain false impression from a public forum as it will always be users who have issues (often of their own making) who will whine rather than address the issues (much like the OP). Users who are completely happy rarely bother to create threads.
For the record I have found each update adds even more functionality to an already great phone. Most issues are avoided by simply clearing system cache from Recovery after applying update so I disagree with the OP.
My advice? Apply updates as they come, clear cache from Recovery and make up your own mind. [e]1f609[/e]

It's my opinion based on user experience.. I've been using one plus from op2. I don't need to prove everything. and if proof is provided,is there a fix?

He is so right!! Who needs them security features! You can save all that data by not downloading ota's after 3 yrs that could be 4 GBs! While you run on Nougat all your friends will be on Peppermint or Quaker. Won't you be the talk of the town!
