    Perhaps oneplus will want to please their growing customer base and use some of the profits from sales of the oneplus 3 to invest in more developers and We'll get android N on the oneplus 3 earlier than the oneplus 2 got M this year

    It will be one day. I'm happy with Marshmallow for now. it's better to be on a slightly older version which is stable than get the latest version on day one with several bugs. with so many developers I guess it will be independent ROMs who will bring android n first.

    You're right. A stable version is always better than a buggy version which gets every day an update to fix the bugs.

    Will having 7.0 make you happy even though 7.1.1 is the latest version? Even when it's updated to 7.0 we still won't have the latest operating system. So there's no difference in being behind on Marshmallow or being behind on Nougat. We'll always be behind. Best just to take the update when it comes and be happy. We've waited this long, what's another month?
