    Good luck with that then.
So we can expect Oneplus to keep selling old models at launch price in future can we?

Go waste your time if you want. I've just told you it has worked that way for basically hundreds of years and you think a tweet will solve it.

Yup, Twitter is a nice place for people to vent out frustration. When nothing happens go to Twitter.

Uh Apple is one of the rare company that doesn't decrease the price of its older products. So, I wouldn't use Apple as a reference, just saying.

They do not. New phones are released all the time. Back when you bought your phone you thought it was worth it, and thus it still is. Nothing about the device changed.

The fact that old products go down in price is completely normal. It happens with every single product. Take a look at Samsung for example: Their phones drop 400$ in price after a few months. Accept it, and enjoy your phone.

If you can't afford a new one, then don't buy one. You current one works perfectly fine.

I'm sure Oneplus are quaking in their boots. ;)

You think the rest of us inherited money or do we have to work for it too?

Work a lot harder, earn a lot more and buy yourself another iPhone then if you see you device as an investment that should maintain value.

The resale value of any device plummets as soon as you open the box and plummets once again when a newer model is released. This is simply the way of the world - get used to it and stop whining!

Maybe consider the trade in (buy back) program, if you considering buying a OP7

    You mean "Hey @Carl #whyareOPphonessocheap"?

That's basically an ad for them.

On top of that: I just checked what 4K INR is in euro's, and it's just 50 bucks. That surely is a lot! Not really....

If that's a lot for someone, shouldn't he/she think it's a good idea to save their money and be happy about the phone they got as it is?

Also, in India, just a hint of maybe not getting the best deal possible infuriates people.

That being said, you got a really, really bad deal.

everyone i found one of oneplus policies buried in the T&C's when you first bootup the phone and agree for the first time. its clear they were trying to hide it from us fellow customers. disgusting considering how their company used to run
When you are on the setup screen for your phone (factory reset) you need to go to the terms and conditions and scroll down
at the bottom it will say 'i disagree'
simply press disagree and follow the instructions to claim your refund as you disagree to using the phone and are therefore eligible for a refund

just refunded my 6t after buying the 7 pro
    hope this helps.
not sure if oneplus might patch this though.
