    Where there’s energy, there’s heat.

Have you been watching videos or playing games for hours? Streaming movies or playing games for long periods of time taxes your phone’s CPU.

Have you got too many apps running at once?

Do you have a bad signal?

Has your phone been sitting in the sun?

Answer these questions and thou shalt find the answer that you seek.

If not, the answer is undoubtedly, 42.

That is quite normal in regions where the ambient temperature is on the higher side. Did you know, your body's temp is around 37⁰C
And this temp is also quite normal when playing games or editing images and such..

I was going to say "That's what she said" but have decided not to.

It doesn't matter if you're on WiFi or on mobile data. If you are taking lots of videos/photos, watching YouTube etc your phone will heat up slightly.
Those temps are not very high, they're normal. Sit back, take a deep breath and relax.
You do not have a problem.
Well at least with your phone you don't, I can't vouch for life variables.
