I feel 64 gb is less when recording 4K videos and i dont want to use otg as it hangs and comes in the way. Is there any alternate solution?

The phone itself ? Obviously not.
If you gave a thought to it for some time , you'd have realised the same on your own in lesser time than it took you to ask this elementary question.

Use a cloud drive or get something with 128 gigs or an SD slot next time.

    Murman and pa5t1s like this.

If you have really fast internet connection, then use the cloud sync :)
the device doesn't have a card slot so you won't be able to increase the storage....

or you could have bought 128GB version

Dude, I myself using OTG of 128GB along with it, I never felt lag on performance, as I used live OTG connected to it while recording 4K. I believe that is the best option you can opt with OP2, and mine OS is the supplied one, no rooting done. So may be that's why I didn't felt any lag.

I am not creating redundant threads, i want my point be made clear which is: i want to oneplus to release android n for oneplus 2. Leave the xtra storage concern out of it as i was just curious is there any mod other than otg available in market to expand storage as i have seen some for iphone. Coming to the point, the only reason i can think why oneplus is not launching android N for OP2 is coz they want their customers to buy their new flagship phone which i personally believe is unreasonable from the customer's perspective.

First of all....iphones are very popular in external modding community.....while oneplus phones dont support these kinda things....so there might be some very rare cases available and they'll also be very costly....and the second point is about nougat....The thread is talking everything about storage i dont see a single word regarding nougat...and also its not just oneplus every companies does this to force customers to buy a new device...but thankfully oneplus devices have a great custom rom support and love...so if you want nougat...just go for custom rom...its not worth waiting for a official nougat...itll come but might take time..!
