    Hi everyone,

    Any clues on how to install apk from sources other than Google Play Store such as YouTube Kids?

    Appreciate any help and responses.

    - Download the APK to your phone
    - find downloaded file in filemanager (probably saved in folder called download)
    - double press file
    - in pop up screen allow installing from unknown sources
    - done.

    But do keep in mind, as you are installing an uncertified app, there could be a virus installed with it.
    So my advice is that you never install any apps from sites that are not trusted.

    I have done all the above mentioned steps, however, some application is working just fine (Microsoft Edge, Android Auto), but some others are not working (YouTube Kids). The sources are from Aptoide.

    Any other tricks?

    Tried too install the app and it is giving an error (parsing error) on my OP5T as well. (I am on Beta 1).
    Downloaded it from APK Mirror and that one works fine ((arm64 version)

    Enable unknown sources in settings. then to get best safe third party apps i recommend from Tutu helper. Been using for ages.

    Use safe sites like apkpure, apknite, apkmirror. They get good reviews. apptoide isn't good for me.

    The question should be where to download the apk file because to install you just need to press download. I usually get these files on techbigs.
