    There hasn't been an update for the stable channel OOS in months and the latest Open Beta from July still has the May security patch like the stable version does. It appears that the OnePlus software development team has once again put another of their one year old devices on the backburner

    coming to security patch, op5 just got the july patch, and op3/3t will be getting it in the next update, so no meed to worry about that

    Op5 software has a lot of bugs. It is normal for it to have more focus on software in the first months.

    Op3 isn't forgotten, don't worry.

    Bonus: when OP will abandon a phone, you can count on custom roms, since they release what is needed.

    So OP is a good brand!

    Still remain 5 days to get 2 months complety , so only after this 5 days you can cry...just wait , have pacience man! If you want more updates move on beta , it is easy to instal and it is smooth and stable. Look tomorow we will got the new beta 12 ;)

    people said the same for the op2 when the X was released and OP2 got 0 updates in 4 months... then we got one, and then it was almost 8 months without an actual update...
    then the 3 came, and we kissed bye bye any support

    Again and again the same winy post about "OP abandoned us like OP2 users".

    Get a life ppl. A lot of us they visit this forum to read real problems and solutions, not crying teens complaining about OP.

    Personally I think as a show of good faith one plus should of released an update to coencide with the realease of the oneplus 5 to help rebuild there well tarnished imagine.

    The reason most people are posting about updates is well justified considering how they have treated the one plus 2 community. It is quiet possible the one plus 3/3t will receive the same treatment only time will tell.

    I don't know why people always want updates everytime, if phone is working well and it's has the latest Android version it's OK but people complains just because there is no update for 2 mounths and then they will be an issue on the latest and they gonna complain, Just Settle please, just OP2 users can complain we didn't had nougat and we didn't have update for more long without any news for OnePlus and with important battery drain
