    Hi,

    Recently bought a OnePlus 8 and was looking to sell my OnePlus 5 on Ebay. I has someone asking me for the IMEI and PCBA codes for my phone to make sure that it is a real phone. Do you think this person is trying to use these numbers are part of a scam? The buyer has no record on Ebay as a buyer or seller so hence why I'm asking the question.

    Nope, IMEI is used to check for reportedly-stolen phones and PCBA is "Printed Circuit Board Assembly" and is probably used to check for genuine parts. This is completely legit.
