I've been happy enough with OOS 5.0.4 so I haven' t been eager to update for a while. Since I also haven't done a TWRP backup in a while, I thought it would be a good idea. When I did I got the error 255 tarfork issue. Not a big deal...that gets fixed when flashing a new ROM, as I've read.

So that leads into my question. Going from 5.0.4 to 5.1.5, I want to keep TWRP and root. I am on TWRP 3.2.3-1 and rooted with Magisk 16.0. Will these work on OOS 5.1.5?

Is the process as simple as remove security, wipe dalvik/cache, flash 5.1.5, flash TWRP, reboot to TWRP, reboot OS, reboot TWRP, flash Magisk, reboot OS, drink homebrew? I have seen posts that say I have to uninstall magisk, substratum, xposed...is this true?

    I compel thee to opine
