Update 2 - tested Truecaller Messaging, works perfectly. I get notification as soon as I receive a text. Good alternative. Further tested call waiting issue, seems to be a 1 off. no subsequent call drops encountered.

I only faced the issue once, tested it multiple times again later but couldn't recreate call drop. So it is safe to say, if a new call received when you're already on a call, existing call is intact.

Easy: use a different SMS app while this gets fixed. I suggest Google/Android Messages (forget which the proper name is) or Textra.

Also easy: remove the alarm and readd it again. Seems to fix this problem.

Tried native android messaging app, did not work. Looks like only Truecaller is working as of now. I really dont want to use this but no option.

•Rich Media Rendering from messages.
•Auto Archive OTP's
•Message Classification
Works fine now

Please search, this has been answered over and over and over. To save you the trouble: use a different SMS app in the meantime.

Its a known bug... Use other sms apps until it gets fixed... And use search before creating new threads..
