Widevine status has changed to L3. Not able to play HD or HDR videos on OTT apps. Even installed the recent update for 7T where OnePlus supposedly fixed the issue of not being able to play HD videos. But the problem is still there. Tried factory reset, cache wipe, still no fix. This is the last time I am buying OnePlus. Done with this pathetic support and buggy updates.

    Yeah brother same problem
It's been 4 months now and there is no update regarding this.
They have pushed the update before 11.0.3.1 in which they fixed this widevine issue but it's not fixed .
A lot of people reported this but no update regarding this what so ever!
    Such a shame

What is "OTT"? Over The Telephone? On The Television?

As for the Widevine thing, that's on Google to fix. It's affecting other phones too.

Bro being a Smart phone user if you don't know about OTT then it's a shame, and you must throw your phone right away. By the way for your info OTT= Over The Top. And by the way it's depends upon OEM to fix or implement any software issue, Google just supplies the code bro. LOL.

    Well,
Google will not fix this issue as it concerns with oos
It's oneplus's job to fix problems in their phones.
Xiaomi has fixed this issue with redmi k20 Pro series by providing some certificates to install.
So yeah it's up to OnePlus to fix.
