    I shifted from a 5s to a OnePlus 6t and tried to transfer data
    through one plus switch and it didn't work

    I still have a lot of data on the 5s and am waiting for OnePlus to solve this problem

    let's hope OnePlus works a way out with apple considering this problem

    If you are exchanging between two OnePlus devices you shouldn't have any issue with it (this thread is only regarding Iphone issues).

    Are you sure you did the exchange properly? What error did you get exactly?

    Not sure what most people are encountering when trying to use OnePlus Switch. Just make sure that you verify them as a developer and install the app on your iPhone. You need to then connect to the Hotspot info provide by your OnePlus, you should be able to migrate your data after successful connection.

    We are customers and pay a huge price for a phone. How can a mobile company deny our personal data in the name of security! The entire data belongs to the user and the company must give us back. Let's fight the same legally and expose apple. Apple can't treat our personal data as their intellectual property right. We r not employee of apple, we are Customers!! Such approach of apple in the name of security proves their days are gone.

    App data such as whasapp, notes, books, etc can't be migrated from iOS to Android except for contacts and photos. These data exclusively belongs to users and Apple has no right over it.

    Ah okay so it seems like contacts & photos are still transferrable through the OnePlus Switch app. WhatsApp is a 3rd party program but you should still be able to sync your data with your phone number. iBooks and Notes can probably be migrated via iCloud.

    No. Contacts and photos are not transferable through switch. However, it gets transferred through Google drive. OnePlus Switch is not working with iOS et Al. thanks

    Nevermind. :oops::sweatsmile:

    I read 5s but my mind tricked me and I thought of the OnePlus 5T :neutral::sweatsmile:

    That explains why it wasn't working. :sweatsmile:

    Were you able to copy things in other way? Back in 2014 when I switched from my iPhone 5 to the opo I could copy most things using some guides from the internet. But now I think with Google drive should be easier.
