I recently bought a one plus 5 mobile. I have tried all the options for call activation, but I can't activate call waiting feature. I am using Airtel mobile network. Please suggest me something and let me know if any one is experiencing same problem.

There is no need to call airtel customer care or oneplus customer care. Also voice mailbox option is also available on airtel free of charge.

Is the problem resolved. Even I'm facing the same issue. Using Airtel and call waiting is activated. checked this by dialling *43# . The option of call waiting is also tick marked. But I'm not getting any notification of incoming call while I'm on call.

All you have to do is go through
    Call settings > sim1 / sim2 > call forwarding > when unreachable and add +91675.
    That's it !!

    You don't know that!
He might have died, had same incident, his internet got cut off permanently, issue resolved but no response from OP etc...

lol it's your thinking that he might have died. when some op user google the problem regarding call waiting this thread comes first as it has more views. I was having same issue in my OP6 when I googled about it this threads popped up.
My intention was to make it reach upto maximum people. And this platform is made for that. If it's not useful to you then please GTFO.

Also you mentioned you have a OnePlus 6 which is running Android 9 (Pie) but OnePlus 5/5T is running Android 8.1 (Oreo) (Android 7.1.1 actually when the thread was made) so your solution might not even work...
    And also different hardware...

it's not about Android version or hardware. Airtel messes up the call setting. it's universal solution.

@Sanket914 its nice of you to want to help, but this thread is from Dec 2017. I doubt the thread starter has been going around for over a year with this issue still happening.
Many users open a thread and then disappear. 99% of the time their query is answered and they don't even post their appreciation.
So please do not bump old threads unnecessarily. If another user had posted in here seeking assistance and you replied, that is a different matter, but that was not the case here.

    zombie thread bumped now closed
