So I've seen on twitter from @androidheadlines that a New "oneplus 3t" was used to post on Weibo.
Apparently OnePlus A3010 was certified by the Chinese regulator, TENAA.

Snapdragon 821 chip and Android 7.0 out of the box but obviously nothings been confirmed.

If this happens then this is a joke. Releasing a new variant every 5 months? Never Settle. Release a new phone every month. LoL

Could be interesting to see what develops. There is always work on the next model so it may be a larger model to try and capture the Note 7 legions who are currently flocking to the iPhone 7 Plus and Pixel XL.

Why?, if i'm buying phone now i like the idea of having latest hardware and software. Updated OP3 is the way to go.

Man, I hope it's false. This phone would apparently have a 821 and android 7.0 out of the box and the rest is the same as the OP3, including the AMOLED display. Also if you look at how low is the stock everywhere, that just kinda makes you believe that they are prioritizing the production for the launch of this new a3010

Remember the OnePlus 2 Mini leaks from last year? It got certified by Tenaa as well (a TENAA certification means nothing basically...) But I haven't ever seen it on the market, this looks like something similar.

Why is that bad, maybe it will just replace OP3, new device for the same price.

It's bad because if they are focused in a new device thats replace the original op3, you can forgot software development and android 7.0 update soon for the original op3.

It would be a dick move. I feel bad for OP3 owners but don't in the same breath because they have to know what their getting into with OP. They can't be trusted.

This seems like another self serving way to continue to inch up the pricing ladder as well to customers. "Look at better, faster OP3 for $40 more".

    SMH.

Interesting few articles on line, we'll have to see what pans out.
I wouldn't take too much notice though.

If this actually happens, we can say bye bye to the Android nougat update for op3.

We'll be treated like how oneplus two users are treated now. This frigging sucks.

Alteast, give us Nougat update before realising a new phone.

I haven't bought a single HTC device since the One X, because the way they released the One X+.

But then, things were slightly different. HTC One X had lots of issues they tried to fix with the One X+ so it felt like I was beta testing a device for them to fix. With the OnePlus 3, I don't feel quite the same. I love mine, I'll probably want the new revised version but I'll still be okay with keeping my OnePlus 3 while other buy the rumored OnePlus 3t.

The only thing I actually want to hear from OnePlus is why they are doing it.

Spoiler alert: Nougat has been confirmed for the OP2. So your logic isn't that valid.

You're right, they should only bring a new phone out every 5 years so that owners can feel they got their money's worth.
