would be a dangerous precedent as will alienate the buyers who own a op3 basically they will shoot themselves in the foot, so it would seriously have to be a lot cheaper to fly with people to not lose faith in the company.

$480.00 US or about is what the OP4 is expected to be released at with better specs across the board. Doesn't make sense to release an upgrade of the OP3 to compete at the same price point.

why is any current owners of op3 pissed if op release a mid cycle refresh? OP3 had the best processor when it's released. They update to 821 mid cycle to keep with competition. what's wrong with that ?

I personally wouldn't buy it, I don't think a slightly uprated processor and camera sensor warrants a $80 increase.

Same here. What a bummer :(

A lot of people must be at this dilemma and I think the shipping time has been reduced to 10 days because the orders must have dropped!

Also Mate 9 is coming out in two days and it seems a killer phone too.

    Decisions , decisions

    What is? 3T launch?

OP should clarify this rumor because it is damaging sales!

OP3T release would be this year / early next year, OP4 release in June/July 2017, not really any point to waste money on upgraded OP3.

The question is "what's the point of the OP3T?"

CPU is actually much worse than SD820, but GPU will be best on market, +150% more powerful compared to T880 MP4.

I'm ready to pony up the funds. I'm rocking the 1+1 still and was ready to get the 1+3.
I can hold off a month or 2 since speculation says that December might be the month.
And before everyone says, "just wait until 1+4", who can say a minor upgrade won't be available another 6 months from then?!?!

Nothing, but that doesn't mean it is the right thing to do. ;)

IMHO a company struggeling with the current phone regarding availebility, there is no need for an new version. OP should focus on one modell a year; instead of spending money for an "refresh" give the "old" one a little pricedrop after 6 months ( -20$ upto 30$) and start focusing on the 2017 flagship.
In 6 Months from now, people are eagerly waiting for an knew flagship from OP. Sony had to learn a harsh lesson regarding refreshing flagships every 6 months.
Nothing a small company like OP should try...

Can I send in my OnePlus 3 and add an extra 80$ and get a 3T? I am kinda bummed out, I barely had the phone... what, 3 weeks?
