Should OnePlus officially launch an upgrade programme where existing OnePlus users can update to the latest flagship - possibly OnePlus 5?

    What are your views, world?

Damnit, this again! You must be from India...

NO this won't happend and it is a stupid idea. From a company side: They will always lose money because of logistics and what must they do with all the old devices... From a personal side: Just why? You will get a lot more money if you sell it locally to someone and get a new one.

Nope, but this has been discussed already when the OP3 came out. And somehow the people from India are the only people who think this would be a good idea and are not thinking about the economical consequences.

Thanks for you interest in the future Oneplus device, but the truth is that so far we don't know anything about it, not even when will it be launched. ;)

That image you are sharing is most likely just about some new color Oneplus is launching for the op3t. :p

Regarding the "upgrade program", that's something that as been discussed on the forum lots of times before and that even @Carl spoke about it. The plain fact is that usually that type of deal will never be good for any of the parts involved. The brands that do that offer a crappy price for you old phone (they have lots of logistic costs involved that need to be payed somehow), much less then what you will get for on the used market, so in the end there's really no point on losing time and money on creating that system.

Just sell you phone on the used market when the time comes, and you will get that extra money needed to get the new device. ;)
