Please have a look at the Software Update Excitement thread and the links therein for the general update (announcement) policies. As also pointed out, there is already an Open Beta version, so the stable version is sure to follow. If the stable version is being rolled out, there will be a thread created for it in your device's section announcing it, so be sure to keep an eye on the 7T section. The weekly updates and other Announcement threads might further help keep you posted on any potential developments.
