Try rebooting once. My phone behaved a bit funny after the first reboot post installation. I let it settle for a while and it's working fine now.

    It's stable.
There is no open beta on 7T.

I updated mine while trying to complete a port of a number from Google Voice to AT&T. I wish that process were as painless as this update has been so far.

Everything appears to be fine now. The oddities post-update were:
    • K-9 Mail apparently updated itself (or at least claimed to) and needed me to reaffirm its permissions.
    • Google Play Store went to a black screen. I force-stopped and restarted it, and it was fine.
    • My Windows machine connected to, but wouldn't use the hotspot until the computer was rebooted. This seems to be related to Windows because it also happened after the last update. I suspect it's some sort of caching issue in the Win10 Wi-Fi interface.
    • My Linux machines (at least the ones I tested it on) connected and used the hotspot with no issues.
Everything I've tried so far seems to work fine. Specifically, I have tested:
    • WiFi
    • Mobile data
    • Hotspot (Windows required a reboot to connect)
    • Voice calls
    • SMS
    • AT&T Visual Voicemail
    • Trillian
    • WhatsApp
    • K-9 Mail
    • Gmail
    • CardDAV
    • CalDAV
    • GPS radios
    • Navigation (Magic Earth)
    • Dark Sky
    • Banking and brokerage apps (with fingerprint logins)
    • Cube ACR call recorder
    • Browsers
    • Termius (SSH client)
    • USPS Informed Delivery app
    So far, so good.
