It's reported by many. You can read and post in the pinned oos 10.0.1 update thread. Don't open redundant threads.

The Never settle screen (to the left of home screen containing cricket updates on top, tool box shortcut buttons in middle and write memo option in the bottom) suddenly stop working very frequently and needs a device restart everytime. Is someone else facing the same issue ?
    please help me resolve this

Hi friend. If you want my suggestion, try to download the official full zip file from the OnePlus website here https://www.oneplus.com/gr/support/softwareupgrade/details?code=10. Then copy it to the /root of your internal storage in the OnePlus 7 and from the Settings-System-System Updates, tap on the top right corner the little cogwheel and you will see the zip you just copied to your device. Select it, press OK for the installation to start and after it ll be finished it will ask you to reboot. Proceed with that.

Then after that take a backup of your important files (if you need to) and go to settings-system-reset options-erase all data. There enable the option erase internal storage. After that give some time to the device. When the process ll finish and you will see the welcome screen, turn off the device, enter the recovery mode by pressing and holding at the same time the power button and the volume down button until you will see the Android logo but still count 3-4 seconds more while you hold the buttons.

Release the buttons and now that you are in the recovery mode, choose the option Wipe Data and Cache and there select only the option Wipe Cache. When the process is done, reboot the device by selecting the option Reboot. After that the OS it is actually clean fully installed. It should be better.

If you don't want to do this, you may ask help from the already existing threads. For the official Android 10 build here https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/oxygenos-10-0-1-for-the-oneplus-7-pro-and-oneplus-7.1117547/ and for the Beta build here https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/oxygenos-open-beta-3-for-the-oneplus-7-and-oneplus-7-pro.1116209/.

Next time please use the search function before posting a new thread. I am closing now this thread. Thanks!
