oneplus 7T went too fast because the OP7 was less than half a year off and then the OP7T comes out without knowing anything because now I feel as a customer that the OP7 is unnecessary

The technology release path of OnePlus is no secret. You could've checked it before buying something.

Nothing is just incorrect. OnePlus is having this half year new device release path since OnePlus 3. So you should've known that there would be a nice device within half a year. Also: Are you also complaining that there is a new CPU released 2 months after you buy a new PC? Technology is moving, and so are new releases.

    Hello,

I am on the fence about this too. Looking to purchase a Oneplus phone next week and I am not so sure about which to go for.

I don't want a Pro model, I will be choosing between the OP7 and OP7T.

I must say that the T model has some upgrades over the regular 7, but, I can't get over that aspect ratio which makes the phone look to narrow and long, whereas the OP7 was better designed and seems nicer in terms of looks, to me at least.

Cameras don't matter that much, as I only use them for Whatsapp video calls and now and then picture taking.

Now, local shops have price cuts on the OP7 which make it cheaper than the OP7T by quite a bit, around 125 Euros.

    Which one would you recommend?

i have the op 7, it's nice and pretty phone, the camera is decent, with GCam will be even better, you can get the 256 version now in a good price. I didn't try the 7t but I think having the wide angle will be a nice feature, I don't know about the 90 hz and how it will impact on the telephone but the telephone is already fast so getting faster will not make difference for me, except if I am gamer, whom I am not. even I think the new refresh rate will impact the battery which is by the way excellent on op7 I got once a 12 hours screen on time, but usually I got something between 5 and 8 hours. so if the new refresh rate will impact the battery negatively then I would decide for op7 , lastly you should think of the price difference because getting the 128 gb version or 256 gb version matters since the telephone doesn't come with sd slot and the size of photos on smartphones these days is really big.
so consider these things that I've written, maybe those will help you to decide.

    Hello,

Thank you very much for your information, it is really helpful.
The price cut is on the OP7 256GB version, which costs about 470 Euros right now.
I think it is a great deal and I might be ordering one this week.

But, the only concern is that I am not sure if it is the global version. I called the customer support of that shop and they said it was brought from China but did not say if it was a CN version or the global one.
A friend also bought it a week ago and said that it came with Oxygen OS and it was in English on first boot.

Would this be an issue for European LTE bands and official OS updates?

I have no idea, I bought the phone from a small local shop here in Russia, and LTE works perfectly, I don't know if the phone is global or not but the box of the phone is all covered in with Chinese language even inside the box the message is written in Chinese too. so I can't tell if this a global or Chinese version, the phone is running oxygen os out of the box, if the Chinese or global version has some indicator in the box tell me how to find out to tell you if my phone is Chinese or global version.

    Hello,

I believe it has to be on the back of the Phone, a model number, something like: GM1900 or similar code.

    Ok, thank you very much.

Are you using the ROM it can with or did you install the one provided Oneplus' Website?

Does it work fine? Does it include google apps(gmail, youtube, google drive, etc)?

Do you also receive frequent software/OS updates?

OnePlus have relased a T version every year since the 3T.

So if you've been paying attention, you know this happens.

Does your phone become worse because a new one is out?

look at companies like Xiaomi and Realme etc. They release new phones every 2 minutes.

That's a Chinese version that someone has modified to run OOS.

The Global versions are either in English on the box or your local language, and the version is GM1903
