Actually he's right ! It is about time 3 days remaining from previous update release date to complete the bimonthly cycle but yeah there's no ETA so he'll who knows ?

Anyways there's just lot of issues with this update and it's been bugging me ever since, people keep creating new threads for issue that has already been discussed or answered. We need to create a common thread for [ Known bugs / possible solutions] to avoid redundancy ( or at least we could ask mods to merge the new thread to common issue thread and keep it updated after every new update)

Agreed, the problem is that some really controversial bugs arise with updates, and OnePlus takes 2 months to possibly fix it, irritating users during that period. Meanwhile they always do fix such issues fast enough with newly released models. Software team should give hotfix updates/quick patches, cuz damn they even rollout those updates as staged... What's the sense? I just don't believe, that double-tap, camera focus issues and other couldn't be fixed like almost immediately, not taking 2 months.

More irritating thing is cache clearing or reset doesn't change any of the issues like you'd expect the apps crashing or hanging chrome for example, doesn't make any difference ! And settings ? Or notification trey ? Man it is part of system how can you expect to run that for two months when you're using Device on an average at least for 5 hours give or take !?!

Actually it's a nice idea with the thread of known bugs for each device branch. However the problem is that there should be a user collecting info into a base and checking/testing those, cuz the very same moment it becomes a bit popular cupcakes will run there with battery drain and God knows what else shit. It would become of no difference to current UPDATE THREADS, filled with redundant, useless trash. That's the way cupcakes turned open betas into a mess, by not sending proper feedback with logs, but thinking sb from the team would be reading their irrelevant staff in created threads or beta thread...

Another problem is that lots of those crying newbies don't even recognize when sb tries to help like bug-hunters, cuz Community app is such a piece of unfinished code... They just don't understand who you're: mod, regular user, bug-hunter etc. What else should be said, when tag function doesn't work with newly created threads...
