I said chip. Not chipset. Even the sensor matters. I don't think IMX 398 is capable of anything more than 240FPS.

Dear people. If the hardware isn't capable of capturing 960fps slo-mo, then how can they add it in a update?
In order to record 960fps phone has to have:
    a) processor with 960fps recording support
    b) camera with a special DRAM buffer
If one of these is not present, you will not get a true 960fps

If the Poco F1 will get super slo-mo, then it will only be a software interpolated 240fps or something like that. Software will create missing frames, so the image quality won't be much better than with 240fps

Yup, I'm a happy 5t user but my next one is def going to be a Xiaomi. It's cheaper, same build quality, way faster updates than OnePlus. Christ, look how long they take for a PIE update.
Imagine installing a custom Google ROM on a Mi Mix 3, priced the same as a 5T.
It's my 3rd OnePlus device but I can say that OP is becoming greedy.
This will def be my last OnePlus device, so disappointed...
I might go with an Honor aswell, cheap but robust and i like Kirin and look at huawei fast charge, it's phenomenal...

so what? OnePlus does none of that... For me, it's no gimmick but an actual feature that has been praised in many reviews.

Well I must partially agree. I have a 5T, I'm not disappointed with it. But updates for it come a lot slower than other devices. But I like Oneplus software a lot better than Xiaomi or even Google. I think that oneplus has one of the best Android softwares available.

Apart from these OnePlus is getting side tracked with OnePlus TV.
They are not able to cover all the phone for OS upgrade. How are they going to manage another product all together.

    guys let me tell you...
poco f1 is much better than op 5t.. leave about 5t its better than 6 or 6t...
    check mkbhd blind camera test..
poco f1 is next only to mighty mate 20...
come out of the marketing drug of OP

am using poco F1, have been using op 5t earlier...
was fed up with the situation of beta updates for op 5t.
now F1 already has pie and very good camera output
