You really expect OP to fix something that an app did to itself?

Nope, it's PUBG who did it. Take it up with them.

Just to elaborate a bit: if you update an app on the phone that supports something, but in the newest version it doesn't, while the underlaying system (in our case the Oxygen OS) didn't change, why do you think the Oxygen OS (Oneplus) must carry the fix? Illogical.
Contact pubg, Oneplus can't "fix" something that doesn't depend on them. The system still gives the power, the app you use (pubg) doesn't allow you to use that.

If this happened after a PUBG update, why would you think OnePlus needs to fix it? Report it to PUBG!

Once again: it is a PUBG issue, there's nothing OP can do. A similar issue happened with the OP6 a few months ago, the PUBG developers eventually fixed it in an update so it'll be the same thing.
