remove the WiFi, Aeroplane mode, Mobile data and GPS location options from the taskbar when the device is in locked state, because someone stolen the device we can find our device with the help above options only if the stolen person disable above options it is difficult to trace the device. provide one option for adding and removing options in taskbar like security mode when the device is in locked state only and also for power button options.

not possible unless Google makes these changes..if someone wants to prevent the theft of their devices, they should take better care.
you can't prevent thieves from ejecting sim card, there goes your security.

the modern devices with built in batteries have fail safe to shut down the device holding power button, so what then?
also do search the community for several identical threads..no need to create a duplicate thread.

we don't have wide use of esim right now. it will take another couple of years for companies to adopt that.
also there is the force shut down holding power button, what will you do to it?

what did you mention about power button, there is nothing clear about it.

the thing is you can't change the shutting down an Android device by holding the power button in case the device freezes, so what settings will you modify that will prevent a thief from just turning off your stolen device?

mind it all modern phones with inbuilt batteries need a fail safe to turn off in case of freeze.
so please explain what will you do to prevent it?

There is no dependency on Google to implement such a feature.

Do you keep your house and vehicles unlocked? Just so you know, locks can be easily broken.

Holding down the power button should reboot the device, not shut it down.

it shuts down currently. if Google doesn't do it, will oneplus?
don't give example of house, already gone down that road in another duplicate thread. so cut it out.

OnePlus can implement if it decides to do so.

It is a relevant example given again since you didn’t get it the 1st time. Just because there are means to bypass a security feature doesn’t make it a useless one. So cut out your illogical explanations.

nobody is giving you illogical examples.
you are jumping and trying to hijack a thread.
i explained the facts, what the current scenario is with Android and what the op can do to prevent it.

unlike you many others understand it and don't try to make it a big fuss about it. if someone is so paranoid about losing their device, they should take extra precautions. this is not iOS you are running in your device.

now the question is "if oneplus decides to" does creating a thread help that? since the matter is already been posted several times and there is absolutely no response from them?

now lets get back to your house and car.. do you carry your house and car in your pocket? i don't think so. you got your answer why you should not bring house and car into phone security and theft topic.

please stay on topic and don't act as if only your views matter here and other's have illogical views.

why you are comparing with Google it is not an stock android write, OnePlus is developing their own software if they feel it is write they will work on it otherwise they will ignore.

actually oneplus does very less modifications to stock like Android, thus what Google does, oxygen os users will get similar things.
oneplus has not done much to improve security from what Google provides. that's why comparison to Google.

however lets cut the chat, provide feedback to OnePlus and see what they have to say about it.

we can discuss all we can without any productive results.

    Indeed
This has been discussed many many many times before.
If Google does not include this features in stock Android is because there is a reason behind.
You can use a third party app to achieve everything you want.
You can also use the feedback page to submit your request.
