[CLOSED] [RESOLVED] OnePlus Nord Damaged when received via OnePlus Community App

    Ordered the OnePlus Nord 8/128 Blue marble with popup invite code on 29th of July and the order was delivered today August 3rd evening..
    After winding up with my work.. Opened the box and started recording the unboxing as I am small time youtuber with a small channel.. immediately after checking the bottom of the phone.. I saw that the bottom corner of the phone has been chipped off and damaged.

    As one of my friend suggested taking it to the OnePlus experience store and asking an replacment, if that is not working then.. I have to apply for RMA.

    Attaching images as proof and also have the unboxing video as proof.

    Didn't expect this from OnePlus.. hope my issue gets solved and get a replacement unit.

    Will add the further information and updates once I get a solution for this

    Visited the OnePlus experience store in chennai,
    They inspected the device and told they don't have stocks at the moment and informed me it will be most probably come tomorrow (5th August ) .

    Update 2.

    Frustrated to the core.

    No proper replacment channel for damage when received. I am regretting now that I should have purchased on Amazon.in

    Customer satisfaction is the most important thing for a proper company to succeed but OnePlus has deliberately failed so.

    No response till now from head office so they are not processing the replacement and secondly they don't have stocks for replacement units.

    They treat sales and service Replacement as seperate stocks.

    New phone and I am visiting the service center.

    Don't know what kind of quality control OnePlus is following.

    I am devasted completely.

    So Oneplus is literally taking revenge on budget consumers either by half baked software updates or unbaked devices. OP exposed.

    Finally some good news, the service center called me today and they have got the confirmation from OnePlus head office and agreed to give the replacement by tomorrow.

    Will post the pictures of the replacement unit once I receive it tomorrow.

    Update #5 the last update for this thread,

    Yay! After 3 days of hassle, got the replacement unit from the OnePlus experience store .
    Happy that atleast they could arrange the replacement in 2 days.
    But at the first place this shouldn't have happened and OnePlus should have been extra careful in the quality control issues.

    Anyways cheers.
    Hope I will have an great experience with the OnePlus Nord.
