    OnePlus uses Samsung display in all phones since OP5/T. It was in OP3/T that they used Samsung and some other display paralllely.

    That's something new. They didn't do it for a few other folks. Maybe depends on the service center.

    Should be same rules for everyone. But as we can see from previous threads like this, it's a huge advantage to be able to visit a service center in person...
    It was the same when 5t had the back panel spot problem, if you talked to support via the chat it wasn't covered by warranty. But many users reported they got the back panel replaced for free just by visiting a service center in person.

    @sam.dhawade glad you got it replaced for free, now be more carefully with the brightness and long gaming sessions... As it can happen again

    Glad they did this. @Liehjan it is a case by case basis and really depends on the service centre I guess.
