[CLOSED] Security patch update every two months Feb 10, 2019

    Hi OP,

    Few months back you made big splash commiting to provide extended software support for older devices including OP3/3T. As part of that you promised security updates every two months. Now, as a consumer that's great to hear until its not because what it is, is a false promises that you either have no intention of keeping or capabiliry to fulfill.

    OP 3/3t are still running security patch version of November. Just do yourself a favor and don't over promise and under deliver because that diminishes our trust in the brand. Instead, deliver first and then pat your back for doing so. That would keep our brand loyalty at same level if not improve.

    A concerned OP fan.

    Your doing ok bud, the 6T is on December from what members are saying.
    I've had 2 security patches this year, from the company that doesn't push updates apparently.:rolleyes:

    I have read that it is because of Chinese new year. Staff are in vacation. I am using 3t and I don't care much with pie but please provide security updates atleast till 2020 March. S 4 months gap is a lot might be they are going to push pie very soon.

    This is a user forum.

    I'd take meaningful OS updates over security patches anyday, granted OnePlus aren't pushing either at the moment.

    OnePlus have stated the OP3(T) will get bi-monthly security updates until November 2019.

    We would never know. Even pie is bonus to oneplus 3 users. 3T should have been shipped with Android 7 so pie is not a big thing for 3T users.
