[CLOSED][SOLVED]Cannot connect giffgaff Mobile data op5 android 9

    I have a One plus 5 on Android 9 but cannot manage to connect to giffgaff mobile data.

    I have managed to create an apn and save it with the below settings as found in other posts

    Hi, has this only been an issue since a recent update, have you only just acquired the device or have you not tried using mobile data before? I've had occasional APN configuration issues with GiffGaff myself, but have usually found help on their forums. They don't seem to have a specific guide for OnePlus devices, but there's the following:

    Also I saw some recent mentions (May 2019) of people facing mobile data connection issues on their Samsung devices on Pie. It might be worth having a look around, if no one here is able to advise :)

    I only inserted the giffgaff SIM yesterday in the 2nd nano SIM slot as i am in the UK but did not manage to connect to mobile data yet

    problem solved had to select default SIM see below

    Ah, fair enough, for future reference, it helps to mention such details, since that could help determine whether it could be an issue with a recent update or such ;)
